I watched a very interesting movie over the weekends. I guess i was sort of attracted to the "highly rated and hot movie" gimic trick. Yup! it was S n the City.

I must admit that i have never been a fan of the TV series and was not very aware of the plot except that i know it has something to do with women, cosmopolitan life and men. The movie was really quite good but i guess what intrigued my thoughts was the plot behind it.

I have always have the perception that it was a women's show. Sorta those shows where they are there to protrait women as victims or to show that women eventually have the last laugh kinda plot. Yup! if you watched the show.. i'm talking about the part where the groom walk out on the bride. I felt for the poor ger and was indeed devasted and hated the guy in the show from that moment. However, as the plot slowly unveils, it potraits a deeper meaning to me.

Marriage or a relationship has always been a "US" kinda mentality. But things will start shifting out of place when suddenly the balance is disturbed and inclines to the "ME" side. I was blinded by this sympathy for the weaker sex that i did not see the whole picture. Things that could have been understood with a wider more open mind. (<----Bullshit right??)

Hmm.... let me tell a story....
P. 1yr old child that loves ice-cream. Whenever i open the fridge to give her ice-cream she will gleam with delight and start climbing up my legs. However, everytime when i tell her to wait while i get her to wash her hands before eating she starts crying thinking that i am robbing her from the ice-cream. Then mum will come along and naturally assume that i am bullying her.
Can't blame anyone... people see things diff and so do i. I just wanna incorporate some hygiene into her ice-cream binge but to P, i am stopping her from indulging in her fav n to mum, i am simply irritating.

Maybe things would be better if everyone sit down n treat everything with an open mind? I know this is impossible but just curious y things dun function this way......
